About

We love travel.
Planning it, less so.

A flock moves together. That’s the whole idea.

The story

Last week we were sitting with friends who’d just come back from Okinawa. We’re going in May. Naturally we asked everything — which hotel, the driver they used every day, the cave tour guide, the pizza place their kids wouldn’t stop talking about.

“Yeah, we’ll send it over.” And they will. But it’ll arrive the way it always does — a voice note here, a screenshot there, a phone number in a WhatsApp message at 11pm with no context attached to it. By the time we’re actually in planning mode, we’ll be starting from scratch anyway.

We’ve been on both sides of that conversation more times than we can count. The friends who want to share everything they know, and the friends trying to piece it all together into something usable. There’s always a gap between what people want to give you and what actually makes it into your hands in a useful form.

Flokk closes that gap. One trip, shared in one tap. The hotel, the guide, the driver, the itinerary, the restaurants — all of it organised, ready to add to your own plan, and bookable without ever leaving the app. That’s the product. That’s why we built it.

Why we built Flokk

Who we are

We are a small team. There is no PR department crafting an origin story. The story is that we kept planning trips the same broken way — saves in one place, bookings in another, itineraries in a Google Doc nobody could share cleanly — and eventually got annoyed enough to build something better.

We welcome every kind of family. The ones who travel twice a year. The ones who’ve barely left the country and are planning their first real trip with kids. Road trippers to amazing national parks. The digital nomad families who plan continuously because they have no choice. You don’t have to travel like us to get it. You just have to have ever lost a saved activity or restaurant in your Instagram saves folder and felt personally attacked by it.

We build slowly and deliberately. We care a lot about getting this right — which means not shipping things that don’t work (fingers crossed), not gating content that should be free, and not recommending things we wouldn’t book ourselves.

Flokk is the product we wanted. We hope it’s the one you’ve been looking for too.

“A flock moves together. That’s the whole idea.”

What we believe

Planning should be half the fun.

We believe the anticipation of a trip is part of the trip itself. Flokk is designed to make the planning phase something families look forward to, not dread.

Your saves are an intention, not a to-do list.

When you save something, you mean it. We take that seriously and make sure your saves become real experiences, not forgotten screenshots and abandoned tabs.

Family travel is its own category.

Travelling with kids is fundamentally different from travelling solo or as a couple. The tools that serve one don’t serve the other. Flokk was built for families — but we welcome everyone.

The best tip you’ll ever get is from a family who just got back.

Generic recommendations don’t know your kids. Real ones come from families like yours who’ve been there, done it, and want to help you do it better.
