Take the metro to Campanhã and walk to this dedicated tile museum, which sounds dull but is actually one of the most visually compelling museums in Portugal and older kids often get absorbed by the panoramic 23-meter tile panel depicting pre-earthquake Lisbon. The courtyard café is a lovely lunch stop before heading back into the city.
