This UNESCO-listed walled courtyard just south of the Minnewater lake is one of the most peaceful spots in the city, with whitewashed houses, grazing sheep in spring, and centuries of quiet atmosphere. It takes about 20 minutes to explore and is a lovely palate cleanser between busier attractions.
